HO turnout pads for nos 7-10 and curved turnouts December 01 2015Turnout pads for larger turnouts are available in both scale 12" and 18" high roadbed with either 45 or 30 degree bevels. If you are ordering for curved turnouts I only need both the frog size and the curve radii if you are using FastTracks templates or jigs. For other brands I will just need the radii for the turnouts.
Site update for the HO scale sections April 06 2015Major update to the HO section of the web site. I have significantly reduced and simplified the number of items you see on the initial "collections" page. Variations are now in drop down boxes under each item. For instance all four variations of mainline (scale 18" high) roadbed, beveled bendable, beveled straight, non beveled bendable, non beveled straight are in a drop down box under Mainline (18") roadbed instead of being four different items that had to be searched out individually. I have also made descriptions more consistent across the site in order to make your choices clearer. Under the "Panels" section there are now options for panels from 4" up to 24" wide in 2" increments. Please pay attention to the note there regarding shipping of the larger panels. I will be rolling these style changes out to the other scales as I get time. It should not take too long until you see the changes throughout the site. I hope this makes your shopping easier and, as always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or want a product that you do not see listed currently.
Sn3 Symposium April 16-18 Bellevue, WA March 30 2015
I will be at the Sn3 Symposium and will have my S scale products available (standard and narrow gauge). If you would like me to bring another size of roadbed or would like to reserve an order to be picked up at the symposium please contact me through the web site. I look forward to actually meeting some of my customers there and I am excited about seeing some great modeling!
On30 roadbed added March 02 2015On30 roadbed in two thicknesses (scale 6" and 9") has been added along with turnout pads for Micro Engineering #5 turnouts. Micro Engineering was kind enough to provide me with diagrams for all of their turnouts in all scales so I can make any of those now upon request. The two thicknesses are 1/8" and 3/16" actual and a scale 6' across the top (1.5" actual). Both have 30 degree shoulder bevels.
Customer reviews February 24 2015I have added the capability for customers to post reviews for the products. If you have used the products, please let others know of your experiences, so they can make a more informed choice regarding the roadbed. Thanks.
O scale roadbed now available. December 29 2014O scale roadbed is now up on the web site. A few weeks later than when I had hoped but it is there none the less. Currently cataloged in scale 12" high (1/4") and 30 degree bevels. Other sizes and bevels are available upon request.
Custom cutting November 19 2014There has been considerable interest from people asking me if I can make roadbed compatible with other manufacturers products. The simple answer is yes, I can and will. My desire is to make products that are closer to scale size and that is what my products reflect. However, should you desire a product in a size that you do not see, please contact me and we will get it made and shipped out to you. Whether it be from another manufacturer, prototype engineering drawings, or just your imagination, I am here to make the products that you need to make your model railroading better. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. Thank you.
More new products October 13 2014I have just added transition ramps for all of the HO scale roadbed sizes. 1.5% curvable with bevels matching which ever roadbed you wish to have. I have also added 4" and 6" panels in both 12 scale inches (3.5mm) and 18 scale inches (5mm) thicknesses.
Newest products August 22 2014
I just added turnout pads in my scale 12"h and 45 degree shoulder collection. This has been the most popular collection so far and seemed to be the best place to start. I added pads for both Atlas code 83 and Walthers / Shinohara #6 Left and Right turnouts, again because of popularity. If there is a product that you would like to see me make please let me know. The list of what I want to do keeps growing longer but I am more interested in making what you, the customer, want to see.
